Marvel Universe

From movies and television shows, Marvel is one of the 'Big 2' in the comic book industry.  Like their main rival, DC, Marvel does not just sit back content to pump out printed comics.  Many say that Marvel was the main company to usher in the new age of comic book movies with the release of Blade in the late 1990s, followed closely by the megablockbusters Spiderman and X-Men in the early 2000s.  Now, Marvel continues to push new characters in both movie and television formats, constantly expanding their offerings to a hungry audience.
